How to Edit a PDF
Drop your PDF in and every page turns up as a thumbnail you can see and move. This tool changes the pages of a document rather than the words printed on them, which is what most people mean when they say they need to edit a PDF.
Drag a page to move it. The buttons along the bottom of each thumbnail rotate a page that came in sideways, duplicate it, or take it out. Nothing is final — Undo puts the last change back. Drop in a second PDF and it lands on the end, so a contract and its appendix become one file.
Press Save PDF when the order looks right. Pages are copied across untouched, so the text stays selectable and nothing is re-compressed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I change the words in the PDF?
Not here. Editing text inside a PDF means rebuilding the layout and matching the original fonts, which is a different job and rarely comes out looking right. Moving, removing and turning pages is what people usually need, and that is what this does.
How do I delete one page?
Tap the bin button on that page. It fades out and the count at the top drops. Tap it again to bring the page back, or use Undo.
Can I merge two PDFs?
Yes. Press Add PDF and pick the second file. Its pages are added to the end, and from there you can drag them anywhere in the document.
Does editing lose any quality?
No. Pages are copied over exactly as they are. A page you never touched comes out identical to the one you put in. If you need the file smaller as well, do that afterwards with Compress PDF.
It says the PDF is encrypted
A password protected file has to be opened before its pages can be moved. Take the password off first with Protect PDF, then come back here.
Does my file get uploaded?
No. Pages are read and rewritten in your browser, so the document never leaves your device and nothing is stored. Close the tab and there is nothing left behind.
